The prototype of S.H.MonsterArts Godzilla (2016) was created from the 3D data that was used for "Godzilla: Resurgence". The sculpt was overseen by Takayuki Takeya and his colleagues who worked on the maquette for "Godzilla: Resurgence" to reproduce the most authentic Shin Godzilla. It reproduces the coloring, distinctive body surface, unevenly growing teeth, and finely sculpted nails. This will be the largest incarnation of Godzilla introduced into the S.H.MonsterArts line standing at 7 inches and 16 inches in length. It includes the most advanced articulation engineering, a wide range of motion of the whole body, and includes a new movable mechanism in the mouth. This gives Godzilla the ability to have a wide variety of facial expressions.
