From "Gamera 2: Attack of Legion" (1996), Legion joins S.H.MonsterArts as one of the largest entries in the line! The whole body is modeled with great attention to detail and was supervised by Fuyuki Shinada, who was involved in the modeling of the Legion suit at the time. The egg chamber pattern in the eyes and chest uses translucent paint over clear parts to match the onscreen likeness. The flying form that takes off from Sapporo in the movie is reproduced with an original gimmick for the toy based on a new sketch by Fuyuki Shinada.
