The cyborg kaiju Gigan, from the classic 1972 film “Godzilla vs. Gigan,” joins S.H.Monsterarts in a commemorative 50th Anniversary edition! Designed, sculpted, and colored by the legendary Yuji Sakai based on a thorough investigation of production materials, for a faithful recreation of the suit from the 1972 movie. For example, Gigan’s visor uses a double-layer construction, just like the one used in the actual suit. Coloring Accurately colored based on a study of photographic stills from the movie. The use of translucent materials for the wings, just as in the actual suit from the film, adds realism to the appearance as well. The buzzsaw moves just as in the film, and the wings can be opened for flight mode.
